Welcome to Nutrio ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy describes how Nutrio handles information in connection with your use of our iOS application ("the App").

2 Information We Collect

Specifically, we do not collect:

• Personal identifiers (name, email address, phone number, date of birth)
• Health or fitness data (calories, weight, body measurements, goals)
• Food logs, meal history, or nutrition information you enter
• Location data
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage data or behavioral analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostic data sent to our servers
• Photos taken within the app

3 How Your Data Is Stored

All data you enter into Nutrio — including your food logs, calorie goals, macro targets, and history — is stored exclusively on your device using iOS local storage.

This data:

• Never leaves your device
• Is never transmitted to our servers or any third-party servers
• Is never backed up to our systems (though it may be included in your personal iCloud backup if you have iCloud Backup enabled — this is controlled entirely by you in iOS Settings)

4 Camera & Microphone Access

Nutrio may request access to your device's camera and microphone to enable photo-based food tracking and voice logging features.

• Camera: Photos taken within the App are processed on-device to identify food items. Images are not stored, uploaded, or transmitted anywhere.
• Microphone: Voice input is used to recognize food names you speak. Audio is processed on-device and is not recorded or transmitted.

You can revoke these permissions at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security.

5 Third-Party Services

Nutrio does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. We do not use tools such as:

• Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, or similar
• Facebook SDK or Meta Pixel
• Advertising networks or ad SDKs
• Crash reporting services that transmit data to external servers

6 Children's Privacy

Nutrio does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, the App complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations by design.

7 Data Security

Because we collect no data and store nothing on external servers, there is no server-side data to protect or secure on our end. Your data is protected by your device's own security mechanisms, including passcode, Face ID, and Touch ID.

We encourage you to keep your device software up to date and to use a strong device passcode to protect your on-device data.

8 Your Rights

Since Nutrio collects no personal data, there is no personal data held by us for you to access, correct, export, or delete. All data management is entirely in your hands:

• To view your data — it's all visible within the App itself
• To delete your data — delete the App from your device
• To stop all data storage — delete the App

9 Changes to This Policy

If we ever change this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and, if changes are significant, notify users through an in-app notice or App Store update description.

We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
